The Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte through the Provincial Governor’s Office – Tourism Operations Division supported the “Making of the Triple-Theater Performer and the Importance of Arts in Education for Youth Development.” This is in partnership with the Kapatagan National High School – Special Program in the Arts.
Provincial Governor Imelda “Angging” Quibranza-Dimaporo joins the said activity to personally show its support for the program. The Governor welcomes the initiative in introducing to the youth of Lanao del Norte how triple-theater performer works and the significance of arts in education for the development of the youth of the province.
“As a fan of Broadway shows, I am excited and happy that Miguel Braganza II came here to our humble province to share his world class talent to the students of Kapatagan National High School. Miguel inspires our youth to pursue their dreams of becoming a world class stage performer just like him,” Governor Angging said.
The Province of Lanao del Norte is full of talented individuals who are always ready to learn to achieve perfection. The province is a host to a number of festivals celebrated around Lanao del Norte and when competing in other region’s festivals, Lanao del Norte has never come home without tagging an award. Maybe, this one of the reasons why Miguel Braganza II, a well known international performer and a member of the original cast of Ms. Saigon chose the province to share his remarkable talent in the field of performing arts.
Miguel Braganza II, is the Co-Founder and Executive Director IN’ARTES, USA, Inc. He is also acting as the Artistic Director, IN’ARTES Musical Theater Workshop, now under the Management of MB II Musical Theater Productions Workshop.
Miguel as fondly called by friends and associates appreciates the support of Governor Angging. He hopes that the students have learned from him during the lectures and have familiarized all the methods and techniques throughout the workshop.
The students of Kapatagan National High School were happy to be part of the workshop. A student said that she have learned a lot from the activity and will continue to practice the techniques and methods they have acquired from the short course. On the second day, students performed recital of what they have gained throughout the training. PIO-LDN
