Tubod, Lanao del Norte – As part of her birthday celebration, 1st District Representative Imelda Quibranza-Dimaporo in partnership with the provincial government of Lanao del Norte organized a medical mission for one of the capital town’s remotest barangay.
On January 16, 2015, Congresswoman Dimaporo brought a medical team from the Provincial Health Office to Brgy. Taguranao, Tubod, this province to give residents in this remote community access to basic health services.
More than 300 residents from Brgy. Taguranao and nearby barangays of Campo V and Malingao received free medical consultation, dental check-up, tooth extraction, and medicines.
Personnel from Provincial Community Affairs Office (PCAO) assisted the doctors and nurses during the medical mission as well as in handing out the free medicines like paracetamol, anti-fungal creams, antibiotics, pain reliever, capsules for cough and colds, hypertension, and diarrhea. Patients also receive multivitamins and ascorbic acid tablets to boost their immune system.
Congresswoman Dimaporo also gave out donuts and chocolates to children in the community together with her daughter Aminah Dimaporo. LAR-PIO/LDN
