Tubod, Lanao del Norte – In celebration of the annual Kristong Hari fiesta of Brgy. Maranding, Lala town, the congressional office of 2nd District Representative Abdullah Dimaporo in partnership with the provincial government of Lanao del Norte organized a medical mission on November 18, 2015 for indigent residents of this progressive town.

“We are very happy that Sir Bobby (Dimaporo) conducted this medical mission here in Maranding so our residents can get the needed free medical services and free vitamins and medicines.  This is a very big help especially for our indigent residents. Thank you so much Sir Bobby Dimaporo and Governor Khalid Dimaporo”, expressed Brgy. Maranding Chairperson Myrna Undag.

The medical outreach activity was held at Christ the King College de Maranding and facilitated by members of the Lanao del Norte Medical Society.

The anticipated free clinic also offered free tooth extractions and other common dental procedures.

The medicines were provided by the office of Congressman Abdullah Dimaporo while medical personnel like nurses, pharmacists, and dentists were from the Lanao del Norte LGU.

Most of the beneficiaries of the free clinic event were residents of Brgy. Maranding and its neighboring barangays in the municipality of Lala.
