Tubod, Lanao del Norte – The Local Government Unit of the Municipality of Tubod in partnership with the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte represented by Vice-Governor Maria Cristina N. Atay on behalf of Provincial Governor Imelda “Angging” Quibranza-Dimaporo, and Annabelle S. Mendez, Head of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) handed over the 300 meter barangay road to Barangay Captain Rogelio Manoop, Sr. of Barangay Candis witnessed by Municipal Administrator, Carmelita Maglipac, representing Mayor Leoncio Bagol, and Sangguniang Bayan members Nicasio Lacson, Jr. and Virgilia Samañego on August 30, 2017.
Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan – Comprehensive Integrated Delivery of Social Services (KALAHI-CIDSS) is a project of the DSWD where communities and their Local Government Units (LGUs) are trained to choose, design and implement sub-projects that address their pressing needs.
KALAHI-CIDSS Project has the following objectives:
The 300 meter of concreted barangay road is only one of the countless projects of KALAHI-CIDSS and the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte that help improve the living conditions of the residents of the province. This concreted road will make Barangay Candis more accessible to all. Most importantly, students of Candis Elementary school are the primary beneficiary of this project. The safety of the school children leads to the implementation of this project.
The Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte through the initiative of Governor Imelda “Angging” Quibranza-Dimaporo, 1st District Representative, Congressman Mohamad Khalid Quibranza-Dimaporo, 2nd District Representative, Congressman Abdullah “Bobby” Dimakuta Dimaporo and with the support of the members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, chaired by Vice-Governor Maria Cristina N. Atay continue to implement projects and programs to provide better standard of living for the residents of the Province of Lanao del Norte by partnering with various agencies of the national government and non-government organizations.
