TUBOD, Lanao del Norte – A total of 83 flood victims with totally and partially damaged houses from this province were hired by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE-X) under its emergency employment program or Tulong Panghanapbuhay para sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD).

The Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte through its Public Employment Service Office (PESO) spearheaded the distribution of wages to the said beneficiaries on January 16, 2023, at the Provincial Capitol, Pgcarangan, Tubod.

According to Evelyn Lopez, PESO Manager, 20% of the said fund was the counterpart of the Provincial Government. Each of the beneficiaries received P3,900 each, equivalent to 10 days of work.
