TUBOD, Lanao del Norte – Some 21 cooperatives benefited from the Cooperative Livelihood Assistance Program (CLAP) of the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte and received cheques worth P100,000.
The Provincial Cooperative Office, headed by Minda Regis, took the initiative and facilitated the said payout activity held at Meeting Room A, Old Capitol Building, Pigcarangan, Tubod.

Hon. Reinario Bihag, Sangguniang Panlalawigan Member and Committee Chairman on Cooperatives, said, “Kamo diha sa sector sa kooperatiba, gitan-aw ni Gov. Angging na usa kamo ka instumento o tulay na maka abag sa atong mga myembro. Nga pinaagi sa inyong ginagmay na panginabuhi, maka pa uswag kini sa inyong tagsa-tagsa ka mga pamilya.”

The CLAP was funded through the 20% development fund allocated by the provincial government that aims to provide additional capitalization for micro cooperatives and to develop and promote their viability.
“Mao nang naa tay CLAP para naa moy idugang kung unsa man na mga investment o negosyo ang gisudlan sa inyong mga kooperatiba na maka tabang sya sa inyong mga panginahanglan,” MB Bihag added.
Efren Villacrusis, president of La Libertad Farmers Multi-Purpose Cooperative, thanked the Provincial Government for the additional capital given to them, and said, “Ang among proposal karon kay fish cage kay naa man mi lake sa among lugar. Aron maka hatag pud mig dugang trabaho sa among myembro ug panginabuian pud sa mga katawhan sa among barangay.” PIO-LDN
