TUBOD, Lanao del Norte – Elementary pupils and high school students showcased their creativity in an on-the-spot poster-making contest hosted by the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte through Provincial Veterinary Office in observance of World Rabies Day 2022.
 
In coordination with the Department of Education, some 15 high school students and 9 elementary pupils participated in the said contest held on December 21, 2022, at the MCC Hotel Gazebo, Tubod, Lanao del Norte.
 
“This year’s theme is ‘One Health. Zero Death’ and their outputs must illustrate, interpret and emphasize this message through imaginative and creative thinking,” Dr. Fritzie Provido, Provincial Veterinarian, said.
 
Based on the given criteria: creativity & presentation (40%), originality (30%), and relevance to the theme (30%), below are the winners of the 2 categories –
Elementary:
1st – Dalama, CES
2nd – Robocon, ES- Linamon
3rd – Tubod, CES
Secondary:
1st – Pantar NHS
2nd – Salvador NHS
3rd – Diosdado Yap Sr NHS
Artists of the winning posters each received trophies, certificates, and cash prizes of P5,000, P4,000, and P3,000, respectively, while cash incentives of P1,000 were given to non-winning entries.
