TUBOD, Lanao del Norte – Various line agencies, local government units, private sector representatives/organizations, and other stakeholders participated in the Provincial Consultation on the Formulation of the Regional Development Plan (RDP) 2023 – 2028 held in the MCC Gymnasium, Tubod, Lanao del Norte on 23 November 2022.
 
Governor and Regional Developmanr Council X Chair, Imelda ‘Angging’ Dela Cruz Quibranza-summoned the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, municipal mayors, partner agencies, and development stakeholders to focus and align their barangay and municipal thrusts and priorities with the province, as well as, with the regional and national agenda by the President.
 
The workshop aimed to identify issues and gaps arising from the assessment of the Northern Mindanao Regional Development Plan (RDP) 2023-2028, set goals, objectives and targets to address the issues, formulate strategies, and identify priority programs and projects to be integrated in the plan.
 
“Kailangan naa ta’y mga programa og plano na muhaom sa programa sa atong Presidente,” Gov. Angging said.
Mylah Faye Aurora Cariño, Regional Director of the NEDA-X, conveyed her support to the province of Lanao del Norte, saying, “There are so many women ni Region X pero karon pagyud ta naka-himamat og babayi na RDC Chair, all the more reason for us to rally behind Governor Angging.”
 
The participants were grouped into their respective sectoral committees to deliberate on the assessment of drafted RDP. The input generated in the workshop will be processed and consolidated by the NEDA-X for further enhancement and for presentation during the upcoming Regional Development Council meeting which will be held here in the province.
