TUBOD, Lanao del Norte – Land ambulances from the DOH have been turned over to 11 municipalities in Lanao del Norte under their Health Facilities Enhance Program (HFEP).
 
In a Deed of Donation signing and turnover ceremony on Friday, November 25, 2022, Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Dela Cruz Quibranza and Dr. Jovette Guinal, Development Management Officer V of the Provincial DOH Office Lanao del Norte, met with the respective mayors and Municipal Health Officers (MHOs) of the 11 municipalities, namely: Linamon, Bacolod, Tubod, Baroy, Lala, Munai, Nunungan, Pantar, Salvador, Sapad, and Tangcal.
 
“The 11 land ambulances distributed are only the first batch of the HFEP. Next year, we are aiming to give 11 more ambulances to cater to those other municipalities that are yet to benefit from the program,” Dr. Guinal said.
 
Governor Angging also expressed her appreciation to the DOH for the constant support of the province. Not only did they give land ambulances, but they also turned over Php 10M worth of check in support of the implementation of the Universal Health Care (UHC)
 
“We are very blessed to have our Congressmen and the support of Senator Migz Zubiri and Senator Sonny Angara who fought for us in congress to acquire these ambulances. I am also grateful to RD Llacuna of DOH-10 for delivering these units to our province,” Governor Angging said. PIO-LND
