TUBOD, Lanao del Norte – Provincial Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza Dimaporo shared light moments with the Department of Human Settlement and Urban Development (DHSUD) officials led by Director Ariel B. Abragan as they paid their courtesy visit to her on Thursday, November 10, 2022.
 
Director Abragan highlighted their purpose of seeking the support of every Local Government Unit (LGU) for the implementation of the Pambansang Pabahay Program under President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ R. Marcos Jr administration. The officials shared a glimpse with Governor Angging of what the Pambansang Pabahay Project has to offer.
 
This program aims to o address the housing backlogs across the country by providing affordable shelters that are decent and sustainable for every family. As the program prospers, the DHSUD is expecting to build one million housing units every year or a total of six million housing units within six years of the current administration.
 
“This project is beneficial for every province for it underscores the inclusivity of the informal settler families, especially along the coastal areas. As of now, in line with the project our office has allotted 30,000 units for this year”, Director Abragan said.
 
Governor Angging extends her appreciation to the initiative of the team and assures the support of the Provincial Government. She said, “Kami naman dito we always think of what is good for the people. With this, marami tayong matutulungang pamilya, an opportunity for them to acquire conducive houses that they can call home”.
