TUBOD, Lanao del Norte – Some 119 families in Lanao del Norte under the Balik Probinsya, Bagong Pag-asa (BP2) program received assistance package from the Department of Social Welfare and Development Region X (DSWD X) during a payout activity on October 11, 2022, at the MCC Hotel Gazebo, Tubod, Lanao del Norte.
Ronald Ryan Cui, DSWD Assistant Regional Director, said, “All family beneficiaries received varying amounts of assistance depending on the assessment of the social worker. The minimum is P50,000, and the maximum is P86,000.”
Beneficiaries received a minimum amount of P50,000 Livelihood Settlement Grant each, with additional P16,000 transitory and P20,000 housing assistance, depending on the evaluation of the DSWD.
Atty. Mark Christopher Babor, Provincial Legal Officer and Acting Provincial Administrator, graced the payout activity on behalf of Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Dela Cruz Quibranza.

The BP2 program is one of the support measures to decongest urban poor communities. It also aims to provide opportunities to families from urban areas affected by the pandemic, displaced workers, or those susceptible to health and safety risks and other environmental hazards. PIO-LDN
