MUNAI, Lanao del Norte – Fifty-seven government agencies joined the Regional Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict Northern Mindanao (RTF-ELCAC-X) and the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte and offered their services to 127 Bilal Base Command, a Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) community in the Municipality of Munai, on Tuesday, September 13, 2022.

As a way of bringing the government closer to the people, in this government initiative dubbed as Serbisyo Caravan and Especial Masse-Based Program, the PGLDN catered to the community with the services offered by its various departments like the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, Provincial Population Office, Provincial Veterinary Office, Environment and Natural Resources, Provincial Health Office, Provincial AGriculture Office, Provincial Engineer’s Office, and the Provincial Legal Office.

Among the services offered were supplemental feeding, advocacy on child and women laws, giving of restorative devices for PWDs, family planning outreach program, veterinary services, dispersal of falcata, fruit tree, and pinakbet seedlings, medical/dental consultation, and legal consultation.

Aleem Ansari Murad, Commander of 127 Bilal Base Command, expressed his gratitude to the different agencies and the dignitaries who personally visited their community to address the needs of his people.

“Isipin po ninyo, mga kapatid naming MILF, sa pamumuno ni Aleem Ansari, mahalaga po kayo sa gobyerno at gumagawa po kami ng paraan para matulungan po kayo,” Munai Mayor Racma Adamama said.

Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Dela Cruz Quibranza is glad that after three years of putting off the ‘EMBP Alagang Gob. Angging’ program because of the restrictions posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the PGLDN is now back to serving the communities, especially those far-flung areas with limited access to their basic needs.

Governor Angging also appreciates the cooperation of Commander Murad in the government’s undertakings, especially when he offered a 2-hectare land for the pabahay program of the NHA. She also encouraged the preservation of the colorful Muslim identity and culture.

“Kami na naa sa gobyerno, andam kami na mu suporta sa inyong mga kalihokan labi na sa panginabuhi,” Governor Angging said.

Also present during the Serbisyo Caravan were Mylah Faye Cariño, Regional Director of the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), the Armed Forces of the Philippines represented by Brigadier General Rey Alemania, and Col.
