TUBOD, Lanao del Norte – To help ensure continuous learning among the students in the current academic setup, the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte gives additional learning materials to the Department of Education – Division of Lanao del Norte.
The said turned-over takes place during the meeting of the Provincial School Board on August 30, 2022, held at the Governor’s Conference Room, Provincial Government Center, Pigcarangan, Tubod. The grant includes 55 units of brand new laptops, 51 tablets, and 2500 pieces of Big Books.
According to Schools Division Superintendent, Mr. Edilberto L. Oplenaria, the constant support of the Provincial Government with the initiative of Governor Imelda “Angging” Dela Cruz Quibranza significantly help the Division efficiently address the needs of every school in the province and portray its vision.
“We are glad for the constant assistance of the PGLDN through Governor Angging. We in DepEd experienced different changes, but one thing is for sure will continue to try our best to improve the quality of education in the province,” SDS Oplenaria said.
During the meeting, Ms. Eva Edon, the Chief Education Program Supervisor, presented the enrollment data for the first week of classes. “There are 5% still who are not yet enrolled compared to last year’s data”, SDS Oplenaria stated. Blended learning is still facilitated in some schools to cater to all the students.
“We are closely monitoring the data. We’re hoping that before October, we’ll achieve the single class and the 5-day in person in all our schools”, Ms. Edon stated.
