LALA, Lanao del Norte – Hotels, resorts, and Mabuhay accommodations operators of this province joined the recently organized Front Office Operations and Customer Service Training of the Department of Tourism (DOT) Region 10 and the Provincial Tourism Office on August 18-19, 2022, held at the Valley View Hotel Function Hall, Lala.
This training aims to develop and enhance the participants’ effectiveness in dealing with guests and provide them with the essential skills relating to front office operations and services among establishments recognized by the DOT.
Alerma Grace Yurong-Montañez, Provincial Tourism Officer, said, “Front desk or reception service personnel are the ones constantly dealing with clients and guests. Hence, they must be equipped with the needed knowledge and expertise to respond and function effectively and meet the expectations of the guests.”
The resource speaker of the said training was Ms. Ruthcini Marie T. Callao, a DOT trainer and an expert in front office operations and customer service. PIO-LDN
