TUBOD, Lanao del Norte – The LDN Provincial School Board held its first monthly meeting at the Governor’s Conference Room on July 25, 2022. As Chairman of the Board, Governor Imelda “Angging” Dela Cruz Quibranza presided over the meeting with the DepEd LDN Division key officials, led by Schools Division Superintendent Edilberto Oplenaria.
Along with their future programs and activities, the DepEd, through Ms. Eva Edon, the Chief Education Program Supervisor, boldly mounted the awards received by the students and teachers of the Division from the Regional Science and Technology Fair.
“Kani nga mga achievements prove that, Basta taga-Lanorte Kuyaw”, Ms. Edon added.
During the meeting, SDS Oplenaria announced that the opening of the Limited face-to-face classes for all schools is on August 22, 2022, and full face-to-face classes are on November 2, 2022.
To show its constant commitment and uphold the province’s education system, the Provincial Government, through Governor Angging, also turned over additional 15 laptops and a cheque to DepEd amounting to Php 6,696,340. As of July 15, 2022, the utilization rate of the office for the 2022 Special Education Fund (SEF) reached 62.2%. The Division bagged first in Region 10 for having 100% National School building Inventory and Basic Education Information System Performance.
All members of the Board were present during the discussion, including Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Rose Marie Macesar, Mr. Jayson Arnoco, Federated PTA President of Linamon Central school, SK Dahlia Garcia, and BM Marivic Ramos, the Chairperson of the Committee on Education. PIO-LDN
