Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu – To craft the blueprint of development for the next three years, all heads of offices and newly elected and re-elected officials of the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte joined the conduct of a Planning Workshop on the Formulation of Executive-Legislative Agenda for C.Y. 2023-2025, June 16, 2022.
The said workshop aims to identify the major development thrusts and priorities of both the executive and legislative for the three-year term of office towards attaining efficient and people-centered government: (1) Economic Expansion in Agri-fisheries and Eco-cultural Tourism, (2) Equitable Access to Education, Health, and Social Services, (3) Sustainable Peace, Public Order, and Safety, (4) Preservation of Environmentally Critical Ecosystem, and (5) Efficient People Centered Governance.
Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza-Dimaporo delivered a tear-jerking speech, and said, “As you all know, this is my last term as governor, and I want you to give your best for the people.”
In attendance during the workshop were 2nd District Representative Congressman Abdullah ‘Bobby’ Dimakuta Dimaporo, the elected Sangguniang Panlalawigan Members of both the 1st and 2nd District, and incoming Vice-Governor Allan Lim.
“You don’t owe me anything; you owe everything to the people who put you in that position,” Governor Dimaporo said, referring to the newly elected officials.
The participants were divided into five (5) groups to discuss and present various programs, projects, and activities complementing the priority thrusts of the administration. PIO-LDN
