TUBOD, Lanao del Norte – The 2nd quarter Provincial Development Council held on June 9, 2022, was presided over by Board Member Macarupung Dibaratun, on behalf of Governor Imelda Quibranza Dimaporo, the PDC Chairperson.
The members adopted resolutions pertaining to the Supplemental Annual Investment Program (AIP) No.2 for CY 2022 in which the source of funds will be from the General Fund unappropriated surplus in CY 2021. The August Body also approved the resolution Reprogramming the unutilized 20% Development Fund for CY 2020 amounting to Php 20,000,000.
This budget is intended for social development including the construction ad upgrading of the Isolation Facility at Old Kapatagan Provincial Hospital. Aside from strengthening the agriculture sector, Governor Dimaporo aims to improve the healthcare facilities of the province.
Through this, the province can cater to laboratories for other diseases such as dengue, HIV, and Hepatitis. The council also endorsed other pertinent resolutions including the Provincial Commodity Investment Plan and the proposed integrated flood resilience and adaptation (INFRA l) Project to NEDA Region 10. Joined by its regular members and various non-government organizations, the PDC meeting was facilitated by the Provincial Planning and Development Office led by Engr.
