TUBOD, Lanao del Norte – Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Lanao del Norte Manager, Evelyn Lopez, received a plaque of recognition from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) during the recently concluded 2022 Kabuhayan Awards on May 27, 2022, at the New Coast Hotel in Manila.
 
The said award was given to Ms. Lopez for her invaluable support and contribution as DOLE’s partner in the implementation of the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP) in the province of Lanao del Norte, helping a lot of residents by providing sustainable livelihood to poor and disadvantaged workers.
 
Along with Ms. Lopez, several awardees from Region 10 also received awards, including the Paglingkawas Women’s Federation (PAWFED), which was a national awardee as the 3rd Best DOLE-Assisted Livelihood Project in Group Category.
 
“We at PGLDN-PESO are very thankful to the DOLE for giving us this national recognition along with PAWFED, for they have been our strong partners in delivering services to the people. This would not also become possible without the unwavering support of our Provincial Governor, Gov. Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza-Dimaporo,” Ms. Lopez said.
 
The 2022 Kabuhayan Awards recognize the efforts in effectively implementing the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program in realizing the goals and sustaining the gains out of the DOLE-funded livelihood projects.
