TUBOD, Lanao del Norte – The Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte has been granted a Safety Seal certification after a thorough inspection on Monday, March 21, 2022, signifying that the PGLDN is compliant with the minimum public health standards (MPHS) set by the national government.
 
The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) – Lanao del Norte Inspection and Certification team led by MLGOO Sherzade F. Gregorio together with FO3 Junifer H. Canque, PMSG Alimoden T. Arimao, and PCPL Benvienido A. Disierto conducted the said inspection pursuant to the DOLE-DOH-DILG-DOT-DTI Joint Memorandum Circular No. 21-01, series of 2021 or also known as Implementing Guidelines of the Safety Seal Certification Program.
 
Eugenie Pusing, Provincial Human Resource and Management Officer and acting Provincial Administrator, personally ushered the inspectors said, “We want to as much as possible maintain having an establishment that is safe not only for our clients but also for all our personnel.”
 
“We are very glad that we can continue to serve the people of Lanao del Norte, for these efforts are deemed essential, especially with the COVID-19,” Governor Imelda “Angging” Quibranza-Dimaporo, said as she accepted the seal in her office.
 
Governor Dimaporo also expressed her appreciation of the Inspection and Certification Team for their unannounced inspection for the Safety Seal, which for her is the ideal way of doing the inspection.
 
“The Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte meet and surpass the requirements for the Safety Seal certification,” MLGOO Gregorio said.
 
The provincial government is compliant with one of the eligibility requirements of the certification, the observance of physical distancing or spacing through the installation of physical barriers in enclosed areas. PIO-LDN
