TUBOD, Lanao del Norte – The Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of the Province of Lanao del Norte received recognitions from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) for its exceptional performance as Partner Stakeholders on the implementation of various DOLE Integrated Livelihood and Emergency Employment Programs (DILEEP) and Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged / Displaced Workers (TUPAD). Through Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza Dimaporo and Ms. Evelyn A. Lopez, the LDN – Designated PESO Manager, DOLE Region X also gave a plaque to the PGLDN -PESO for garnering a 100% Performance Rating. This mainly pertains to implementing the four core employment facilitation services and other vital programs such as referrals, career guidance, employment, livelihood, and emergency employment, submitting the monthly SPRS and LMI reports, and attending the Provincial PESO FEdearation meeting for CY 2021. The awards were given last February 16, 2022, during the PESO Year-End Performance Assessment 2021 and Planning Workshop 2022 held at Cagayan de Oro City.
 
Governor Dimaporo expressed her gratitude to the DOLE for all the awards and the unwavering support given to the province, especially in these trying times of adversity. “As we continue our battle to end this pandemic, the Provincial government through the PESO will strive harder to deliver efficient and accessible service to all people,” she added.
During the event, the province has also received the certificates and plaques won from last year’s contest, the 2020 Bayanahinan Service Award, and the Secretary’s Bayanihan Service Award under the 2nd Class Province Category.
 
“It is a great honor to receive these awards, and we’re always thankful to the DOLE for the opportunity. With this, we assure to pursue our mission to ensure the direct employment facilitation services in the province and revitalize the spirit of everyone that was affected health crisis,” Ms. Lopez said.
