Tubod, Lanao del Norte – Provincial Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza Dimaporo spearheaded the distribution of annual Pamaskong Handog gift bags to over 150 residents of Barangay Pigcarangan, Tubod on December 22, 2021, at the front of Arsenio Quibranza Building, Provincial Capitol, Pigcarangan, Tubod.
The indigent families received 10 kilos of rice and a dozen of canned sardines each. The “Pamaskong Handog sa Capitolyo” is a yearly tradition of the Provincial Government to give thanks to the residents of Barangay Pigcarangan, having been the home base of Governor Arsenio A. Quibranza Provincial Government Center.
This activity was facilitated by the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWD) under the supervision of Ms. Annabelle S. Mendez.
To show their appreciation, the beneficiaries serenaded Governor Dimaporo with a song entitled “Kasadya” – a Bisaya Christmas Song.
Governor Dimaporo sincerely wished everyone a joyful and safe holiday and encouraged everyone to participate in the global campaign for vaccination.
The Chief Executive reiterated the importance of vaccination, especially with the latest news pertaining to the newly discovered variant, the Omicron.
