Tubod, Lanao del Norte – The Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte led by Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza Dimaporo, pays tribute to its retiring and model employees for the year 2019 – 2021. Organized by the Provincial Human Resource and Development Office spearheaded by Ms. Eugenie Pusing, the “Parangal at Pasasalamat Program” was held at the Provincial Multipurpose Building, Pigcarangan, Tubod on December 10, 2021.
The event’s primary purpose is to extend the PGLDN’s heartfelt gratitude and utmost appreciation to these employees for consistently providing excellent and reliable service to the people of Lanao del Norte.
“What you see as changes, innovation, and development here in the province is also due to your contribution, so we thank you for your service,” Vice Governor Maria Cristy Atay said.
Out of 61 retirees, over 53 former employees attended the said program and received their cash gifts amounting to P10,000 each. And as a token of gratitude, Governor Dimaporo personally handed out a customized gift she prepared for them branded with their respective names.
“We are very grateful for all of your hard work and dedication for the past years you have spent serving the people. Hopefully, you will continue to support the programs of the Provincial Government for the continuous development of our province as well.” Governor Dimaporo stated.
Moreover, aside from the importance of managing their finances, Congressman Abdullah Dimakuta Dimaporo, the 1st District Representative, also reminds everyone to treasure the learnings, experiences, and friendships they gained from working at the Provincial Government.
Ms. Gemma Harun, the former PRMC head and one of the retirees, emotionally expressed her sincere gratitude to PGLDN leaders, especially Governor Dimaporo, Congressman Abdullah Dimaporo, and Congressman Mohamad Khalid Quibranza Dimaporo of the 1st District.
“Your support and guidance helped us a lot to attain our professional growth and achieve what we have today. Thank you for treating us not just your employees but also a family”, Harun said.
Governor Dimporo distributed health kits for the retirees while Vice Governor Atay also gave her Christmas presents.
