TUBOD, Lanao del Norte – With the support of the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte and the entire Local Government forces, the Department of Health (DOH) targeted to vaccinate 145,500 eligible residents in the province for the three-day Bayanihan, Bakunahan drive.
All 83 identified vaccination centers are opened from November 29 to December 1, 2021, to fasten and rev up the inoculation rollout.
From the daily target of 48,503, the province has recorded a total of 16,657 (34.34%) for Day 1.
Dr. Marujeta Isabel Opamen, Provincial Health Officer, said that “the DOH has augmented a vaccination team to help us in our simultaneous rollout. We also have our dental buses to reach those located in the interior barangays.”
The two of the dental buses of the Provincial Health Office were strategically deployed at barangay Candis, Tubod, and barangay Dalama, Baroy.
Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza-Dimaporo lauded the cooperation of all the LGUs and RHUs in the province, as well as the complete support from the national line agencies such as the Department of Interior and Local Government, Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, Coast Guard Station, Armed Forces of the Philippines, etc.
