September 1, 2021. In response to the needs of our teaching and non-teaching personnel to deliver quality education and effective service to the people, the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte, through the initiative of Governor Imelda “Angging” Quibranza Dimaporo, donated several instructional materials and supplies to the Department of Education – Division of Lanao del Norte.
On behalf of Governor Angging, SP Member Marivic D. Ramos, the Chairperson of the Committee on Education, personally led the turnover activity and was accompanied by the Assistant Head of the Provincial Planning and Development Office, Engr. Melba A. Maghuyop, at the PGSO Warehouse, Provincial Capitol, Tubod.
Governor Angging sees the need to provide such materials to help sustain a robust support system for our children’s education. Effective actions and cohesive efforts are needed in these challenging times while we are still adapting to various changes in this new normal.
Some of the materials provided by PGLDN were Laptops, Digital Cameras, Cellphones, Flash drives, Printers, Bond papers, Specialty Papers, and Printer Ink.
EPS Arlene D. Manginsay extends her heartfelt appreciation to PGLDN, particularly Governor Angging, for the constant support given to the Department of Education.
“We will make sure that your help will not be wasted. We will use it to sustain the development and for the improvement of our education sector in the province,” EPS Manginsay added.
The Provincial Government commends the dedication and determination of all teachers and personnel in nourishing the needs of our youth for a quality education despite the risk brought by the pandemic. Thus, Governor Angging, with the support of the two Congressional Offices, Congressman Mohamad Khalid Dimaporo of the 1st District and Congressman Abdullah Dimakuta Dimaporo of the 2nd District, together with the Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Edilberto L. Oplenaria, will continue to deliver adequate and effective programs to address the literacy issue and to further improve the quality of education for all students in the province of Lanao del Norte.
