The officials of the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) led by Engineer Rommel Yanes, together with Mr. Domingo Sanchez and Mr. Jorge Polintan Jr., paid a courtesy call to Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza Dimaporo at the Governor Conference Room, Governor Arsenio A. Quibranza Provincial Government Center, Pigcarangan, Tubod, on July 6, 2021.
TIEZA acts as the Department of Tourism’s implementing arm in providing support infrastructures and facilitating investments in tourism enterprises from Luzon to Mindanao. The Maranao Village located at Barangay Kiazar in Tagoloan is one of the projects funded by the TEIZA in the province. This visit paved the way to discuss the updates and further strategies on the completion of the Maranao Village in the Municipality of Tagoloan.
Supposedly a follow-up area inspection will be done last year, but due to the lingering effects of the pandemic, the technical team of TIEZA has just visited the area yesterday, July 7, 2021, and conducted a further assessment with the Municipal Mayor of Tagoloan Hon. Maminta Dimakuta and Ms. Alerma Grace Montañez of the Provincial Tourism Office. PIO-LDN
