With this, the AFP appealed to the council to intensify the Enhanced- Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-Clip) in the Province of Lanao del Norte. Through the collaborative forces of the 2nd Mech Infantry Brigade and 5th Mech Infantry Battalion, the AFP will continue to work on another milestone to address the existing threat of armed groups in the localities.

There is a significant decrease in criminalities observed from January-June 2021, especially in murder, physical abuse, and rape. They briefly presented also the campaign on illegal drug and illegal logging, rido settlement, and updates on the implementation of standard health protocols.
Governor Angging was delighted to hear all the improvements and efforts of the PNP and AFP in protecting Lanao del Norte despite the risk brought by the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Contributing your best ideas and all-out support make our province a haven of peace is greatly appreciated. I hope that we could further solidify our strategies to eliminate illegal activities in the province, particularly cock-fighting that is still being practiced in some coastal and interior municipalities”. Governor Angging added.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), through Mr. Davidson Aranton, discussed various achievements of the PDEA, most notably regarding the Barangay Drug Clearing in Lanao del Norte. Out of 482 barangays in the province, there are a total of 312 cleared barangays in which 50 barangays are Certified as unaffected.
“I commend all the efforts of the PDEA, LGUs, and Barangay Officials for this development. Hence, I still challenge everyone to sustain the order so that we can attain long-lasting peace in our beloved province,” Governor Angging emphasized.
