On behalf of Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza Dimaporo, the active Provincial Administrator of the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte, Ms. Sittie Aminah Q. Dimaporo, warmly welcomed Director Jose R. Llacuna Jr. of DOH Region X as he recently paid a courtesy call at the Governor’s Conference Room, Governor Arsenio A. Quibranza Provincial Government Center, Pigcarangan, Tubod.

 

Director Llacuna was accompanied by Dr. Cheryl Balane, the Head of the Regulations, Licensing and Enforcement Division of DOH X, Dr. Juvilyn Dinampo, the Health Facilities Cluster Head, DOH-X Infrastructure Unit Head Engr. Eliezer Mallorca, Atty. Carlo Lumangcao and Mr. Edward Acta, the Chief Administrative Officer of DOH-X.

During the courtesy call, Director Llacuna presented to the Provincial Administrator the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) which subjects to the consumable sets of equipment for RT-PCR testing Bayanihan fund, which will help the operations of the Province in conducting more COVID-19 tests.

 

Present also during the meeting were Dr. Marujjeta Opamen, the PHO Head, and the 6 Chief of Hospitals, Dra. Shoraynah Ali Tucal of Baroy, Dra. Remedios Fernandez of Kapatagan, Dr. Demetrio Opamen of Kolambugan, Dr. Jasmine Pungginaguina of SND, Dra. Sohainah Ismael of Baloi and Dr. Arman Colao of Kauswagan.

 

As the key representative of Governor Angging, Ms. Sittie Aminah Q. Dimaporo extends her genuine appreciation to Director Llacuna and the DOH as a whole for their continued support for the province at the onset of the pandemic.

“DOH has been helping us throughout our quest against COVID-19. With that, we are making sure that we also comply with all the ordinances that the DOH and other agencies implied to further intensify all our efforts.’ Ms. Sittie Aminah added.

 

On the other hand, Director Llacuna also expressed his gratitude to the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte, specifically to Governor Angging and with the two District Representatives, Congressman Mohamad Khalid Dimaporo of the 1st District and Congressman Abdullah Dimakuta Dimaporo of the 2nd District, for being so dynamic in supporting all the programs of the Department of Health.

 

“The LGUs are indeed the reliable and effective partners of DOH. With that, we assure you our constant assistance in technical as we thank you for all your support and efforts, especially amidst this pandemic”, Director Llacuna said.

Together with the Department of Health, the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte will continuously seek alternatives and ways to uphold our system for reliable delivery of affordable, effective, and accessible medical services to all the constituents of Lanao del Norte. PIO-LDN
