The officials of Mindanao State University – Lanao del Norte Agricultural College (MSU-LNAC) recently paid a courtesy call to Governor Imelda “Angging” Quibranza-Dimaporo’s office and discussed important matters such as the new course offering that will help alleviate the productivity of local fisher folks.
 
The group was led by School Superintendent Indira Dimaporo-Tawantawan with faculties and school staff. Governor Angging warmly welcomes the faculties of MSU- LNAC as they discussed several concerns regarding the school’s development.
 
During the meeting, Ms. Tawantawan shared the accomplishments and future programs of the university. Moreover, the conference serves also as the venue to discuss issues and other matters pertaining to the improvement of the school. The faculty of MSU-LNAC respectfully asked the support of Governor Angging in their mission in providing quality education and training in Agriculture and other fields of discipline.
 
As a premiere university, Ms. Tawantawan and her faculties wanted MSU-LNAC to be acknowledged and be well-known on the province of Lanao del Norte. As they envision of establishing BS Fisheries and Halal Training Center, they mostly desire also to change the negative perceptions of parents and students about their school. Likewise, they asked the support of the active Governor with the two District Representatives, Congressman Khalid Dimaporo and Congressman Abdullah Dimaporo, to help them pertaining “school item” and upgrading of faculties in order for them to be more motivated in imparting excellent education to all students.
 
On the other hand, Governor Angging extends her genuine appreciation to Ms. Tawantawan and the faculties of MSU-LNAC for their initiatives and commitment to the goals of their school. Thus, Governor Angging assures them that she will support them to obtain their objectives for the progress of their school and for the people of Lanao del Norte.
 
“I know it’s hard for us to campaign for your school as of now, especially that we’re still in the middle of a pandemic but we need to be more innovative and resourceful in enlightening the parents and the students particularly in showing the importance of Agriculture. Let us support each other in making them realize that it may not be a famous course than others, it is still a very essential and useful track for everyone especially it can help to the development of our province.” Governor Angging said.
 
The MSU- LNAC faculties were so delighted with the heartwarming welcome and support of Governor Angging. They mentioned that they will still do their very best to achieve the school’s mission and vision for the students and other stakeholders of Lanao del Norte. PIO-LDN
