Police Brigadier General Benjamin Acorda Jr. paid a courtesy call to Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza-Dimaporo today, January 29, 2021, at the Governor’s Conference Room, Governor Arsenio A. Quibranza Provincial Government Center, Pigcarangan, Tubod.
 
Governor Angging together with the 2nd District Representative Congressman Abdullah ‘Bobby’ warmly welcomes the Deputy Regional Director for Administration and his officers. Governor Angging took the opportunity to congratulate the newly installed Deputy Regional Director, PRO 10. Present also during the meeting was the DILG Provincial Director Bruce A. Colao and the Lanao Del Norte PNP Provincial Director PCol Isaias A. Bacurnay Jr.
 
At the meeting, PbGen Acorda Jr. asked for the support of the Provincial Government of Lanao Del Norte particularly through End Local Communist Armed Conflict (ELCAC), they can collaboratively sustain the peace and development of the region, specifically in Lanao Del Norte.
In line with that, Congressman Abdullah also emphasizes their willingness to help with the PNP especially if this regards the safety of all the people in the province.
 
“I am very happy about your visit. I have high respect for the PNP forces and I am willing to help and join the fight for peace and development. We should support and help each other in finding ways and formulating effective strategies to ensure the safety of our people, Congressman Abdullah said.
 
Governor Angging was very grateful for the sincerity that the new Director shows for the province of Lanao del Norte. Furthermore, Governor Angging asked for his support also in maintaining the strict surveillance in response to COVID 19.
 
As a whole, Governor Anggging assures the newly assigned DRDA Director of her continuous support to his office especially in his mission in attaining peace in the Region. “I’m always here to support the PNP.
