Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza-Dimaporo met with Namkwang Engineering, the Korean Contractors of the Panguil Bay Bridge (PBB) Project for a coordination meeting recently held at the Governor’s Conference Room, Capitol Building, Pigcarangan, Tubod.
 
To talk about some updates regarding the project, the meeting was attended by Jang Byung Kyu, Hwang Hyuck and James Gong of Namkwang Construction and Engineering, Harry Y. Oh of International Trading Corporation, Ramon G. Serapio of PGLDN- Environment and Natural Resources Office and Juliet M. Amas from the Provincial Engineering Office, the focal person of the PBB Project.
 
Governor Angging, together with Namkwang representatives had come to a unified decision that the concrete batching plant and offices for the project will be located at the former Agora terminal fronting the MCC Hotel.
“The Panguil Bay Bridge has been a long-standing dream of the people of Lanao del Norte. It was conceptualized during the time of my late father and it is finally becoming a reality during the Duterte administration.” Governor Angging said.
 
The active governor sees to it that the developments of the PBB Project go smoothly and personally checks for updates. Together with the two Congressional Offices of 1st District Representative, Congressman Mohamad Khalid Quibranza Dimaporo, and the 2nd District Representative, Congressman Abdullah ‘Bobby’ Dimakuta Dimaporo, the vision of connecting the people of the provinces of Misamis Occidental and Lanao del Norte and bridging the gap of cultural differences will now become attainable.
