The Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte through the Provincial Tourism Office headed by Ms. Alrma Grace Yorong, conducted an Orientation on the General Guidelines on the Operations of Tourist Destination under the Modified General Community Quarantine in Lanao del Norte recently held at the Macapagal Training Center, Pigcarangan Tubod town.
 
Lyndon G. Calica, the Incident Commander of Incident Management Team (IMT) and Provincial Information Officer joined the program and gave a welcome message to the participants saying that even though tourist destinations are now open, residents must still be cautious and follow the protocols set by the government to prevent more danger to the general public.
 
Atty. January M. Alfeche of the Provincial Legal Office also discussed the various Provincial Ordinances that should be followed by the Tourist Destination Operators and emphasized the importance of the Provincial Ordinance No. 10-2020, reflecting the guidelines of vital health protocols in the entire province to fight the spread of COVID-19.
 
The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Officer, Abeliza Manzano, introduced the New Guidelines and Protocols and also reminded all the participants to set as good examples and get ahold of the copy of the ordinances and health protocols that must be followed based on the Inter-Angency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases Resolution guidelines.
