Provincial Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza-Dimaporo with her sincerity to help the less fortunate and indigent patients suffering from kidney failure and diseases, has continuously worked hard to improve public health services by pushing to establish the second hemodialysis center in the province.
On December 23, 2020, Governor Angging leads the groundbreaking ceremony of the Hemodialysis Building in Kapatagan Provincial Hospital together with Sangguniang Panlalawigan Chairman Committee on Health and Sanitation, Honorable Board Member Harris Umpa Ali, Chief of Hospital Dr. Remedios B. Fernandez, Jocelyn S. Lontayao, CE, the Acting Head of the Provincial Resource Management Center, and Hospital Administrator Designate Mary Angelyn C. Caracut.
The implementation of the Hemodialysis Building project in Kapatagan Provincial Hospital was through the perseverance of Governor Angging for tirelessly appealing to Senator Christopher Lawrence ‘Bong’ T. Go to help fund the construction of the Hemodialysis Center and with the approval and support of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, allotted funds worth P10M to construct the building to help improve the health care services of the provincial government.
Once completed, the Hemodialysis Center will house 10 units of dialysis machines to complement the services provided by the Hemodialysis Center in Lanao del Norte Provincial Hospital in the Municipality of Baroy.
Honorable Ali expressed his gratitude to Governor Angging for making things possible for the welfare and best interest of the people of Lanao del Norte. The Hemodialysis Center in Kapatagan Provincial Hospital and in Lanao del Norte Provincial Hospital are proofs that the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte under the leadership of Governor Angging with the support of the Honorable Members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan chaired by Vice Governor Maria Cristina ‘Cristy’ N. Atay, is sincere to improve the health care services in the province in partnership with the Department of Health, Municipal Governments, Private Hospitals and Clinics, and the Offices of the two District Representatives, 1st District Congressman Mohamad Khalid Quibranza Dimaporo, and the father of peace, unity, and development, 2nd District Congressman Abdullah ‘Bobby’ Dimakuta Dimaporo.
The groundbreaking ceremony of the Hemodialysis Building was followed by the turnover of Kapatagan Provincial Hospital Warehouse. The construction of the warehouse was initiated by the former Governor, and now 1st District Representative, Congressman Mohamad Khalid Quibranza Dimaporo under the 20% Development Fund.
