Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza-Dimaporo joins the Regional Peace and Order Council-10, 4th Quarter Full Council Meeting via Video Conferencing on the afternoon of November 12, 2020.
Mayor Oscar S. Moreno of Cagayan de Oro, the chairperson of RPOC-10 presided the meeting presenting the accomplishments of the various regional agencies of the national government, and the ways forward, as well as presenting updates of the Special Action Committees (SAC) on the following; Anti-Insurgency and Preventing Violent Extremism presented by the AFP, Criminality by the PNP, and BFP presented the Public Safety.
DILG provided updates on the Regional Inter-Agency Task Force on ECLIP (Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program) for Former Rebels and the establishment of the RPOC “ISO” (Internal Security Operations) Coordinating Center.
PDEA shared the status of efforts on Anti-Illegal Drugs and the establishment of the “Balay Silangan” Reformation Center in the municipalities and cities of the region.
The Police Regional Office 10 presented the Communication Plan for Northern Mindanao. The Chair and Secretariat Heads of the Provincial and Highly Urbanized Cities Peace and Order Council presented and discussed their respective Issues and Concerns.
Updates on Payapa at Masaganang Pamayanan (PAMANA) was also presented at the meeting by OPAPP.
The Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte under the leadership of Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza-Dimaporo continuously coordinate and provide support to various regional agencies of the national government in advancing the interest and welfare of the people for the attainment of lasting peace and sustainable development in Lanao del Norte, the region, and the country.
