Six (6) Hemodialysis Machines has been officially turned over by MFA Marketing to the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte on September 24, 2020, at Lanao del Norte Provincial Hospital in the Municipality of Baroy.
Dr. Shorayna A. Tucal, the Chief of Hospital, earnestly thanked Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza-Dimaporo for the all-out support extended to LNPH to address the medical needs of the constituents and Ms. Sittie Aminah Quibranza Dimaporo, the Provincial Administrator in challenging them to prepare the pertinent documents and comply with all the requirements in realizing the project, and the two Congressional District Representatives, 1st District Congressman Mohamad Khalid Quibranza Dimaporo, and 2nd District Congressman Abdullah ‘Bobby’ Dimakuta Dimaporo for the continuous assistance by allocating budget through MAIP (Medical Assistance for Indigent Patients).
The Hemodialysis Center in LNPH before can only cater to 15 patients, and with these 6 additional machines, it can now accommodate 45 patients.
Governor Angging thanked MFA Marketing through the General Manager Myleen F. Alcober for accepting the sincere intention of the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte as partners in providing health care services to the residents of Lanao del Norte by equipping the center with additional Hemodialysis Machines, as well as Television Sets, and Lazy Boy Chairs for the patients’ comfort and convenience.
In addition, the General Manager informed Governor Angging that their company will provide technicians to monitor and calibrate regularly the machines for proper maintenance and efficiency, which the Governor was delighted to know and appreciates the gesture of MFA Marketing.
The Governor also took the opportunity to personally thanked Dr. Tucal and the medical personnel of LNPH for continuously serving the people of Lanao del Norte, and called on all frontliners to be extra careful in engaging with the patients, especially at this time, and to the Honorable Members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan chaired by Vice Governor Maria Cristina ‘Cristy’ N. Atay for strengthening the effort to curtail the spread of COVID-19 through issuances of Provincial Ordinances and allocating funds to other programs aside from COVID-19 related activities.
Before concluding her message, Governor Angging revealed that through Senator Christopher Lawrence ‘Bong’ T. Go, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte has provided funds for the establishment of a second Hemodialysis Center, which will be located in New Kapatagan Provincial Hospital to cater other patients that need this kind of medical treatment and no need for them to travel outside the province, and hope that the center will be operational by January 2021.
