Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza-Dimaporo leads the Especial Mass-Based Program (EMBP) of the Provincial Government in Sitio Bobong, Barangay Abaga, Municipality of Nunungan on January 31, 2020.

Governor Angging was welcomed by Municipal Mayor Marcos M. Mamay along with the members of the Sangguniang Bayan chaired by Vice Mayor Jun R. Cawasa and ABC members headed by President Naim M. Dima.

The EMBP was also in time for the Groundbreaking of the new Government Center that will soon rise in a beautiful location surrounded by green scenery overlooking the picturesque Panguil Bay and the rice fields of the Municipality of Kapatagan.

“EMBP is the brainchild of Governor Angging driven with the purpose of Bringing the Government Closer to the People,” said Lyndon G. Calica, the Provincial Information Officer.

Governor Angging actively initiates activities and programs that greatly benefits the constituents by bringing the provincial government’s frontline services in the communities, such as, the Provincial Agriculturist Office, the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, the Provincial Health Office, the Environment and Natural Resources Office, the Provincial Population Office, the Provincial Veterinary Office, the Provincial Community Affairs Division, Provincial Legal Office, Provincial Engineering Office, and the Provincial Information Office.

The success of the EMBP was also made possible through the unwavering support by the Armed Forces of the Philippines, and the Philippine National Police, and a number of national government agencies like the Technical Education Skills and Development Authority, and the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, to name a few.

Mayor Marcos M. Mamay in his message personally extends his gratitude to the Provincial Chief Executive for her consistency of extending assistance to his administration for the betterment of the people of the Municipality of Nunungan.

The event was also attended by Angelo M. Mamay, the Youth Ambassador of the Province of Lanao del Norte and called on all youth to help continue the peace and development in the Municipality and the Province by supporting the programs, projects, and activities of Municipal Mayor Marcos M. Mamay and Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza-Dimaporo.

One of the programs of Governor Angging for the people of the Municipality of Nunungan is to help strengthen the livelihood by encouraging strawberry and cut flower farming taking advantage of the cold climate, and the planting of Bontong Bamboo, that can be used in a variety of ways like in furniture or for building function halls.

Governor Angging together with 1st District Representative, Congressman Mohamad Khalid Quibranza Dimaporo, and 2nd District Representative, Congressman Abdullah ‘Bobby’ Dimakuta Dimaporo, are always supportive to the programs of the municipal government that help alleviate the lives of the people and help sustain peace and unity for the development of the Province of Lanao del Norte, “The Land of Beauty and Bounty.” PIO-LDN
