Provincial Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza-Dimaporo graced the Department of Education Region 10 “2019 Pasidungog sa Amihanang Mindanao” an annual awards festival, which gathers teachers, and staff in one grand event to recognize their excellent contribution to the fulfilment of delivering quality, accessible, relevant, and liberating basic education. According to DepEd, the program also recognizes employees for their innovative ideas, superior accomplishments, exemplary performance, extraordinary acts or services, and other efforts contributing to efficiency, and improvement in government operations which lead to organizational productivity.
215 teachers all-over the region received Plaque of Recognition for their contribution in the following categories, Outstanding Teachers for Elementary Grades 1 to 3, and 4 to 6; Outstanding Secondary Teachers in English, Filipino, Math, Science, Araling Panlipunan, MAPEH (Music, Arts, Physical Education and Health), TLE (Technology and Livelihood Education), and Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao; Outstanding Elementary and Secondary Teachers – Master Teacher; Outstanding Senior High School Teachers in Academic and TVL (Technical – Vocational – Livelihood); Outstanding Kindergarten Teachers; Outstanding Teacher – ALIVE (Arabic Language and Islamic Values Education); Outstanding Teachers – IPED (Indigenous Peoples Education), and SPED (Special Education), ALS (Alternative Learning System), and Multigrade; Outstanding Head Teacher – Elementary, and Secondary; Outstanding Principals – Elementary, and Secondary; Outstanding Public Schools District Supervisors, Administrative Assistants (School/District), Administrative Assistants; and Ulirang Guro.
Provincial Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza-Dimaporo expressed her sincerest gratitude to the Department of Education Region 10 headed by Director, Dr. Arturo Bayocot and Assistant Regional Director, Dr. Victor De Gracia Jr, and to all Schools Division Superintendents, Assistant Schools Division Superintendents, Chiefs, Supervisors, Teachers, and Non-Teaching personnel for performing the duties with diligence and dedication in seeking to deliver quality basic education to the youth, the future of the region.
“Teachers play a vital role in shaping our children’s future. You are not only teaching them to read and write but also molding their character and attitude by instilling in their young minds good values and right conduct in order to be better persons of society,” the Governor humbly expressed.
Governor Angging was also honored to speak before the presence of Undersecretary Jesus Lorenzo ‘Jess’ R. Mateo and the Officials of Department of Education Region 10, declaring that the Provincial Government and the two Congressional District Offices of 1st District Representative, Congressman Mohamad Khalid Quibranza Dimaporo, and 2nd District Representative, Congressman Abdullah ‘Bobby’ Dimakuta Dimaporo values the importance of education and strongly support the programs of the Schools Division in the province.
Before concluding her message, the Provincial Chief Executive extends her congratulations to the awardees and hope that next time more teachers will be added in the list for the Pasidungog sa Amihang Mindanao.
Governor Angging was proud to see the Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Edilberto L. Oplenaria handed over the Plaque of Recognition to the six (6) Deped family members for the provincial category, namely; Sonaya M. Usman of Big Banisilon Integrated School – Outstanding Teacher in Math, Arlyn P. Tudela of Kapatagan National High School – Outstanding Secondary Teacher: Master Teacher, Fatima M. Salic of Dimayon Elementary School – Outstanding Kindergarten Teacher, Junaid T. Casar of Pansur Primary School – Outstanding Teacher: Multigrade, Carolina D. Clarito of Lala National High School – Outstanding Principal: Secondary, and Hyacinth J. Conde of Lala National High School – Outstanding Administrative Assistant (School/District). PIO-LDN
