Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza-Dimaporo leads the turnover ceremony of farm equipment to the local government of the Municipality of Lala headed by Mayor Angel L. Yap, and witnessed by Vice Mayor Cesar Q. Yap Jr, and the Honorable Members of the Sangguniang Bayan, Barangay Chairmen, the Municipal Agriculture Officer and various Rice Farmers Cooperative and Association in the municipality held in front of the Municipal Hall on November 20, 2019.

Governor Angging thanked the Department of Agriculture and its Regional Office under OIC-Regional Director Carlene C. Collado for the continuous support extended to the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte in helping improve production of farm products, especially in rice farming by providing a number of mechanical equipment for the benefit of the rice farmers.

The Provincial Chief Executive during the ceremony humbly reminded the beneficiaries to take care of the equipment granted at them in order to better serve its purpose for a longer period of time.

The Provincial Agriculture Office under Ms. Letecia A. Ditucalan represented by Rodolfo Aranzado, the Rice Program Coordinator, and the Municipal Agriculture Officer, Doderico M. Cuaresmo facilitated the handover of the machineries to each farmers’ cooperatives and associations.

Mayor Angel L. Yap sincerely expressed his gratitude to Governor Angging, and to the two District Congressional Offices of 2nd District Representative, Congressman Abdullah ‘Bobby’ Dimakuta Dimaporo, and 1st District Representative, Congressman Mohamad Khalid Quibranza Dimaporo for initiating and delivering programs that are beneficial not only to his municipality but the entirety of Lanao del Norte.
