The people of “The Land of Beauty and Bounty” remains to choose Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza-Dimaporo as the Provincial Chief Executive of Lanao del Norte, after earning a wide range of votes against the opposing candidates for 2019 National and Local Elections on May 13, 2019.

A number of electorates expressed their support to Governor Angging by posting their reactions on social media after seeing the mother of the province casting her vote in the afternoon of the Election Day at Rufo Dela Cruz Integrated School in the Municipality of Tubod.

It cannot be denied that the leadership and good governance of Governor Angging and the Quibranza Dimaporo brought tremendous impact on the lives of the people and the communities. Anchored on the principles of Unity for Peace and Development, the Province of Lanao del Norte is steadily gaining grounds particularly in the economic aspect. Investors and other capitalists have seen and observed that today’s Lanao del Norte is not as same as before. Numerous well-known names of grocery stores, pharmacies, fast food chains as well as one of the biggest retailers in the country are beginning to establish their presence in the province, specifically in its capital town of Tubod.

In her first term as Governor, various programs of the provincial government through its different offices were successfully implemented and efficiently delivered to the recipients in partnership and coordination with national line agencies in the region. Moreover, Governor Angging in one of her government programs emphasized to deliver basic services to the people, thus, the creation of the Especial Mass Based Program. EMBP is a program created by the Governor to deliver the various frontline services of the provincial government to the barangays by “Bringing the Government Closer to the People.”

These free frontline services are; Medical and Dental check-ups with take-home medicines, provisions of saplings and fertilizers, deworming of farm and domesticated animals as well as administering anti-rabies vaccines, conduct lectures on family planning, and public legal education, to name a few. In this activity, other national line agencies are encouraged to participate, like the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the Philippine National Police for their community assistance and public convergence program.

With her sincerity and result oriented management, the people of Lanao del Norte is unlikely to gamble their future in the hands of those pretenders and inexperienced candidates whose only intention to run for the post is personal.

The Quibranza Dimaporo exhibits good leadership paralleled with dedication and passion to serve, the constituents reciprocates their appreciation by making their voice heard through their votes in favor of TEAM QUIBRANZA DIMAPORO.

And on the afternoon of May 15, 2019, with 186,535 votes obtained, the Provincial Board of Canvassers, chaired by Provincial Election Supervisor, Atty. Stalin A. Baguio with Executive Clerk of Court, Ms. Aisa Musa Barat as Vice Chair and School Divisions Superintendent, Angelo Roy E. Gazo, as Member, officially proclaimed Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza-Dimaporo as the winning candidate for the office of the Provincial Governor.

And at the same moment, 1st District Representative, Congressman Mohamad Khalid Quibranza Dimaporo and 2nd District Representative, Congressman Abdullah ‘Bobby’ Dimakuta Dimapaoro were also proclaimed with 88,951 and 93,199 votes, respectively.

Vice Governor Maria Cristina ‘Cristy’ N. Atay was called by Atty. Baguio to officially named as the winning candidate for the second highest position in the province followed by the elected Sangguniang Panlalawigan Board Members.
