September 24, 2018. Provincial Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza-Dimaporo joins the Week’s Flag raising ceremony hosted by the Provincial Budget Office in front of Governor Arsenio A. Quibranza Provincial Government Center in Pigcarangan, Municipality of Tubod, Lanao del Norte.
Ms. Chirelyn R. Leopoldo, Acting Provincial Budget Officer was happy to announce that the Budget Hearing for the Calendar Year 2019 was only done for 9 days with the active participation of all Departments Heads of the Provincial Government and is currently in the process of consolidating the budget proposal before submitting to the Provincial Chief Executive for approval.
And on the same occasion, Acting Provincial Tourism Officer, Ms. Alerma Yorong presents to provincial government employees the “National Tourism Week” which begins today until the 27th of this month. To make it more interesting and a way to promote tourism, a number of trivial questions were asked by PTO staff like, Name five (5) tourist spots in Lanao del Norte?, How much is the entrance fee in Tinago Waterfalls?, and so on.
In addition, the Associations of Lanao del Norte Make-up Artist (ASLANOMA) treats the employees of the provincial government with free haircut, make-up and other services, a simple deed in giving thanks to the provincial government for the assistance received by their association through to Provincial Tourism Office and in line with the celebration of the National Tourism Week.
Provincial Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza-Dimaporo personally acknowledged the effort of Ms. Leopoldo in fast tracking the 2019 Budget Hearing as well as the Department Heads for their cooperation.
The Provincial Chief Executive congratulated the Yellow team for a well deserved win in the 2018 Mass Dance Competition that was held in the gymnasium of Mindanao Civic Center Sports Complex last September 21, 2018. It is also the day that marks the beginning of the month long Sportsfest activities in observance of the Civil Service Month.
Governor Angging reminds the employees that this Sportsfest is one of the activities that strengthens camaraderie and establish strong bonds amongst each other to effectively provide quality and effective service to the people of Lanao del Norte. “Always treat every client with utmost respect and sincerely serve each one of them.
