Engr. Anecita R. Lendio, Provincial Planning and Development Office-OIC and Acting Head of Provincial Project Management and Implementation Unit welcomes the recipients of Philippine Rural Development Project and members of I-SUPPORT Units of the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte during the PRDP-PPMIU Coordination Meeting held in Farmers’ Training Center at Provincial Agriculturist Office premises on May 18, 2018.

LGU Engineers from Tubod and Kapatagan discussed the status of I-BUILD Subprojects in their municipalities; the Rehabilitation/Concreting of Taguranao-Palao-Dalama Farm to Market Roads in Tubod and the Construction and Rehabilitation/Concreting of Mahayahay-Buenavista-Tiacongan-Bagong Silang Farm to Market Roads in Kapatagan. Meanwhile, the Provincial Engineers Office presented the updates of the Construction of Civil Works Component for the Enterprise Sub-Project: Integrated Coco-based Enterprise.

In one of the presentations, Engr. Julie B. Angay of LGU Tubod, mentioned that as of May 15 their project is already within 77.24% completion and the slippage percentage is 7.92%. For now the Farm to Market Road is almost complete it is only because of weather condition which hinders us to complete the road project, for it always rains in the area, added Engr. Angay.

The residents in the areas where the road concreting pass-by deeply appreciates the project of the Department of Agriculture through the PRDP and thankful to the leadership of the Quibranza-Dimaporo family in doing their best to deliver the services needed by the residents of the province especially to the agriculture and fishery sectors of Lanao del Norte.

And for the I-REAP Component, MCOCO Manager discussed the Enterprise Development Component of its project, while the Chairperson of SAMPC provided the updates for their Seaweeds Semi-Processing and Marketing Enterprise.

I-REAP Unit Head and Provincial Agriculturist Officer, Letecia G. Ditucalan was present at the meeting including Finance Unit Head, Kyne B. Mabugnon and Monitoring and Evaluation Unit Head, Melba A. Maghuyop as well as other unit members of PPMIU. PIO-LDN
