Lanao del Norte 2nd District Representative, Congressman Abdullah ‘Bobby’ Dimakuta Dimaporo fulfilled the dreams of 7 individuals through the “Study and Work Program for Japan”. The student-beneficiaries arrived in “The Land of the Rising Sun” on March 29, 2018 to study in Nagoya Foreign Language School and work part-time, all of this for the betterment of their lives and their families.
Congressman Bobby is relentless in creating and innovating programs such as this “Study and Work Program for Japan” by helping the constituents of the province finding descent jobs abroad by partnering with Phil-Nippon Technical College. Through the perseverance of the good Congressman and his great relationship with the Japanese Government, he has easily found partner in Japan that will train and offer Jobs right after graduation or completed the skills training. With the help of Technical Education and Skills Development Authority or TESDA Region 10 it has provided free Nihongo language training for 150 hours to the student-beneficiaries in order to help them and overcome the language barrier while they are still in the country which is an essential requirement. The language training was consistently done at Lanao Norte Agro-Industrial School (LNAIS).
The 7 student-beneficiaries are currently staying in Aichi Prefecture, Japan. The Nagoya Foreign Language School will provide part-time jobs while studying. The beneficiaries are Glenn Villacrusis, Geharlyn Lantaca, Karren Mae Cardoza, Lourjei Balili, Ariel Dumpa, Delia Zaragoza all 6 hails from the Municipality of Kapatagan while one beneficiary, Jahera Berico comes from Sultan Naga Dimaporo.
