Lanao del Norte 2nd District Representative, Congressman Abdullah ‘Bobby’ Dimakuta-Dimaporo continues to find ways in improving the lives of deserving individuals in the province by building sustainable relationship with various National Government Agencies and with private entities in delivering essential programs for the people and the communities. On February 21-22, 2018, the Office of 2nd Congressional District and the Phil-Nippon Technical College began the screening, orientation and final interview of the 2nd Batch for the “Study Now Pay Later Program,” where out of 82 applicants, 17 have passed while 30 were considered conditional passers held at Macapagal Training Center, Pigcarangan, Tubod.
The program started when Congressman Bobby requested the Phil-Nippon Technical College to open their doors and accept applicants from Lanao del Norte which PNTC responded positively. PNTC sees the good intention of the ever helpful Congressman and assures that those who will qualify will get better and quality training during the entire course that could possibly reached a year to complete. For the first 4 months, trainees will be brought to Davao Campus for the Language Skills Training and for another 6 months or more they will fly to Laguna Campus for the Industrial Skills Training.
Qualified individuals will be trained with quality skills that meet the needs of the industry and guide them to develop their full potential. It also aims to help update their skills, knowledge and expertise to be competitive in the industry.
The program is free from placement fee, processing fee, and airfare fee. Students will also pay no tuition fee while at PNTC. Payment is made once they are employed in Japan to which PNTC will seek employment for them. The applicants will be taught N5 and N4 level of Japanese Language as well as the Japanese Industrial Standard Language.
PNTC is one of the leading schools in the country that is teaching industrial skills that are highly developed and complimentary in the Japanese Industry.These industrial skills are Automotive, Electronics, Welding, Forklift, Crane Operation, Metal Press, Plastic Molding, Machining, Painting, and Brazing.
For the 1st Batch, they are scheduled to sign their MOA with their guardians in CDO this March 14, 2018 and will proceed to Davao Campus on the following day.
