Provincial Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza-Dimaporo leads the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the construction of a two storey Administration Building at Lanao Norte Provincial Hospital in Baroy along with Dr. Remedios B. Fernandez, Hospital Chief and Engr. Jocelyn S. Lontayao, Hospital Administrator on February 2, 2018.

The upcoming two storey building is primarily an Administration Building that will be utilized by the Admin Staff of Lanao Norte Provincial Hospital. The rooms of the building where the Administration and the staff are currently occupying will be converted into additional wards and nurse stations. The construction of the structure comes from the budget of the Department of Health through the efforts and initiatives of Governor Angging, 1st District Representative, Congressman Mohamad Khalid Quibranza Dimaporo, and 2nd District Representative, Congressman Abdullah ‘Bobby’ Dimakuta Dimaporo. This project is within the DOH’s Health Facilities Enhancement Program that has an estimated amount of P15,925,000 including renovation and repair of the old facilities.

The ground floor of the new administration building will hold the Medical Records Section, PhilHealth Office, Social Welfare Office, Prayer Rooms, Reception and Information Rooms, Inter-Local Health Zone Office, and on the second level, the Office of the Chief of Hospital, Chief of Clinic’s Office, Hospital Administrator’s Office, Personnel Office, and the Library.

The construction of the new building will enhance the services offered by LN Provincial Hospital to its clients and help address issues such as lack of wards and prayer rooms.

“I appeal to you to continue your support to Doctora Remedios Fernandez, Congratulations sa inyo tanan this is only the start, there will be more to come nga mga projects para sa inyong hospital,” Governor Angging said during her inspirational message in front of all LNPH employees and encouraged them to work with sincerity in providing medical services to the people of Lanao del Norte.

The Provincial Government and the two Congressional Districts are closely working with the Department of Health and other National Government Agencies in protecting and promoting the right to health, as well as the promotion of the general welfare of the people of the Province of Lanao del Norte, “The Land of Beauty and Bounty.” PIO-LDN
