Wildcats, 3D Movers Champion for Cheerdance and Hip Hop Competition respectively.

June 29 – Lanao del Norte National Comprehensive High School-Wildcats Cheerdance Team named Champion for the 58th Araw ng Lanao del Norte Cheerdance Competition held in Mindanao Civic Center Gymnasium. Wildcats garnered an average score of 95.33%. The gymnasium is filled with students supporting their respective team. The atmosphere inside the venue is ecstatic as both teams were ready to perform their well practiced routines. As the Wildcats stepped into the floor to perform, fellow students squeal to show their support and excitement of the performance. The Wildcats’ performance was very impressive as they were like competing in a national level. These young students have shown how beautiful the Cheerdance is. The movements are almost perfect. The stunts they performed such as the two-legged stunts, one legged extended stunts and the basket tosses are overwhelming. The cartwheels, round off and tumbling were seamlessly executed.

2nd District Representative, Congressman Abdullah Dimakuta Dimaporo and Ms. Sittie Aminah Quibranza-Dimaporo witnessed the performance of the cheerdance team. Congressman Abdullah persuade these young students and the school to continue what they are doing for maybe one of these days the Province will send our representative in National Competitions. The Congressman who stands as the father of the province was delighted to see how talented the youths are that is why in every celebration of Araw ng Lanao del Norte there is always a day for them. On this day the youth are given importance and encourage by showcasing their talents and developing their confidence.

The Champion LNNCHS Wildcats received the cheque amounting to P30,000.00 and Lala National High School Bluehawks accepted the P25,000.00 cheque as 1st Runner-up.

In Hip Hop Dance Competition, thirteen of the best hip hop dance crew in Lanao del Norte and nearby cities and provinces showcased their dancing skills in front of the judges, guests and residents of the Province. 3D Movers from Tubod grabbed the title as Champion of Hip Hop for this year’s celebration and awarded the prize of P20,000.00. 1st Runner-up Next2Beat from Bonifacio, Misamis Occidental received P15,000.00 and Thou’d 7:30 Crew of Iligan snatched P10,000.00 as 2nd Runner-up. Non-winners will receive a consolation prize of P5,000.00. PIO-LDN
