Terror threats, Illicit Drug Production and the use of it continue to plague and bar the sustainable development of the province; drug problem has always been described as a threat which knows no borders. Most areas of the country share the same predicament.
Ever since President Duterte has been elected the war on drugs has been intensified Operation Double Barrel (TOKHANG) was just the beginning Operation TOKHANG was not received well by the public, many still believed that it is in line with extra-judicial killings.
Many Anti-drug campaign were initiated here in the province such as Camp Based Drug Rehabilitation (CADRE), Marandinganos Ayaw sa Droga (MAD) and Mamamayang Ayaw sa Anomaliya, Mamamayang Ayaw Sa Iligal na Droga (MASA, MASID) etc. and now recently Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse (PADA) Plan and Peace and Order and Public Security (POPS) Plan.
The PADA and POPS plan is a workshop initiated by the DILG to enforce new ways of helping Drug surrenderees and keeping the peace and order all-throughout the province, the workshop was participated by the PGLDN, PNP, Phil. Army, PDEA and Municipal Government Units.

The workshop serves as a wake-up call to all LGUs and reminds them their functions on how to better help their own constituents of their area. This workshop was led by the DILG along with Governor Imelda Quibranza-Dimaporo to promote Anti-Drug Abuse and Peace and Order and Public Security of the province. – PIO-LDN
